Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges.
This is the story of a boy (b. 1926) who grew up on a Western Australian Wheatbelt farm, asking his mother, "Mum, what can I be?", and went on to live a life of involvement in many diverse community activities.
The farmer's union, Moora Shire Council, the Anglican Church, the Country Party, Swanleigh, Freemasonry, the Arthritis Foundation, the Australian Institute of Fundraising and many sporting bodies all became areas of interest and commitment.
However, it is the years of involvement with the Country Party, during which he served as General President and later General Secretary, that provide some of the most absorbing reading in this detailed account of the life of Ron Elphick, community leader.
