This book traces the story of the development of the Moora district from its first sightings by European explorers through to the town's celebration of Western Australia's 150th year, in 1979.
The majority of the book is devoted to the period of the 1880s through to the 1940s. It was during these years that a number of important developments took place, such as the Midland Railway, and the formation of the Moora Road Board.
