The autobiography of Alan Hough.
Alan's father, John Hough, migrated from England after WWI. John had several jobs in the Wheatbelt, Perth, and Jarrahwood before moving to Nannup to work at the Kauri Timber Coy Mill. John Hough purchased a small bushland block about a kilometre from the mill and three kilometres from the Nannup townsite. This book describes John's childhood in the Nannup district during the 1920s and 1930s.
John Hough became a policeman working in Bunbury and other South West towns during the 1940s and 1950s. He also served in Meekatharra and Perth.
