Of course, our telly was black-and-white, our radio was AM, and the coolest of us had a mate with a CB radio in his bedroom. Every suburb had a great patch of real bush where local kids built the coolest cubby houses. Pinching bits off the other mob's cubby was expected...and you knew they'd get back somehow.

Sadly, so much of what we once loved and took for granted has slipped away in the name of progress. Within this book are the memories we craved, the inspiration to make a change, and the triggers we need to see our beautiful city in a different way.
