This is the biography of Charles Edward Edwards, who was born in Gobur, Victoria, on 27 February 1874. As a young man, he travelled to Western Australia, where his first job was carting goods for the railway workers on the Mullewa to Nannine railway line. Edwards and his wife Tillie, nee Palmer, settled in Waterloo in 1903 in their new home, Wandoo.
