This booklet was published for the celebrations marking the centenary of the first scheduled government rail service to Pinjarra, Western Australia. The service opened on 22nd May 1893, and so began the first stage of a South West Railway system that stretched to Bunbury and ultimately to the South Coast at Augusta and Northcliffe. (Introduction)
