Secondhand. Fair condition. Significant wear to book edges and corners. Heavy foxing and sunning to foredges. Binding is holding but is starting to fray. Foxing on some pages. No dust jacket. Book is in a non-adhesive protective cover.

Inscribed by Mary Durack in 1979. This copy is undated, and the title page with the inscription looks like it may be a copy inserted and glued into the book. A 1998 newspaper article is taped to the back cover.

The history of the Durack Family, in particular, Patrick Durack (1834-1898), an Irish immigrant who pioneered the Kimberley pastoral industry.
