This is the biography of Elsie nee Saw (1889- 1965), born in February 1889 in Armadale, Perth at the Narrogin Inn.

She married William Arthur Green in April 1920, farming at Allanson near Collie at a property named Litchfield. They left this property due to Elsie's health, moving to Hopeland in 1932.

Hopeland was six miles west of Serpentine and had been part of the Peel Group Settlement Scheme of the 1920s. They called their property Boorala.In the 1940s, they moved back to Armadale.
