Taylor grew up between WA’s early gold mining towns of Siberia (also known as Waverley), Kanowna and Kalgoorlie and wrote the novel Daughters of Siberia as a tribute to her parents and grandparents.
Her novel centres around WWI and the exodus of many of the young men from the Goldfields.
The book is illustrated with photographs of the Goldfields at the turn of the 20th Century.
