The memoir of the first forty years of Duke Wellington. He was born in 1935 in the small timber town of Yarloop. His father worked for the local mill, Millars Timber and Trading.
In 1949, deciding that working for Millars was not for him, Duke travelled north to the Gascoyne region. Over his working life he was employed at many of the pastoral stations.
He also developed considerable knowledge of the Ningaloo coast.
