An account of the role of 16-year-old Grace Bussell and Sam Isaacs in the rescue of SS Georgette.
On December 1, 1876, the SS Georgette, badly damaged and carrying 50 crew and passengers, was wrecked in heavy surf between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Hamelin.
This booklet is not dated, and it's unclear if this is a reprint or a first edition. Athol Stewart did write an article in The West Australian, 12 October 1935, entitled Australia's Grace Darling. It was published shortly after Grace Vernon Drake-Brockman (née Bussell) passed away.
