Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges, with front cover right tail corner now protected with book tape. Interior and binding are still excellent.
From humble beginnings in outback Queensland, QANTAS grew into the world's most successful airline. Fergus McMaster (1879-1950), chairman of QANTAS, was instrumental in the airline's early success. In the centenary year of Qantas, this book pays tribute to Fergus McMaster. This is his story.
Fergus McMaster co-founded QANTAS with Hudson Fysh and Paul McGuinness in 1920. Following the First World War, these three men, driven by passion, foresight, and a vision for aviation, founded the now internationally recognised, iconic airline with the red kangaroo on its tail.
'QANTAS was conceived in Cloncurry, born in Winton and grew up in Longreach', said Hudson Fysh.
