Mr Gianfrancesco migrated from Roccamandolfi, Italy to Western Australia in 1956. In Australia, Mr Gianfrancesco worked as a bricklayer for 60 years.

His autobiography provides insight into the difficulties migrants faced in post-war Australia.

Mr Gianfrancesco passed away in 2019.
