Frederick David Burdett came to Australia with his family in 1878, aged fourteen. This memoir, his reminiscences, covers pastoral life in New South Wales and the men and incidents of the early Kimberley. He was one of the earliest diggers at the Kimberley goldrush of the 1880s.
