Book Description

Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges. Faint mark on tail foredge.

This is the memoir of Kenneth Watters, from 1963 to 1975.

Kenneth left high school early to become a professional fisherman on the Western Australian coast. In 1966 he took a job at the Carnarvon NASA Tracking Station between seasons, where he developed a very strong interest in how it all worked.

After returning to school at the WA Institute of Technology (now Curtin University) and graduating as an electronic engineer in 1970, he became an engineer at the NASA Tracking Station at Orroral Valley in the Mountains of the ACT.

In 1974, returning to Carnarvon, he took up a position, with the Nor West Whaling Company, as a research engineer and eventually joined the M G Kailis Group.
