Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges.

In early 1961, a series of bushfires broke out across the south west of Western Australia. Although no lives were lost, Dwellingup town was destroyed.

This booklet is a compilation of stories based on the memories of Dwellingup residents. Included are Jessie Irwin, Doreen Smith, Stan Evans, Meg Pollard, Cath and Gren Farley, Emmie Douglas, Merle Kelly (nee Dawson), John and Malcolm Douglas, G A Savell, Wally and Alice Lynn, Madge Johnson, and Helen MacKay. Extracts from newspapers, Murray Road Board and the Royal Commission into the fires of 1961.
