Stand Easy is the final volume in a series of Christmas annuals produced for the Australian Military Forces during the Second World War. It is a commemorative book published in 1945 containing stories, verse, and black-and-white drawings, all created by members of the Australian Army who initially contributed as part of a competition.
It documents the final stages of WWII, particularly the Pacific campaign and the defeat of Japan, and includes maps detailing campaigns such as North Borneo, Tarakan and Balikpapan, Bougainville, and New Britain.
Also includes a full list of contributors to the full set of army Christmas books produced 1941-45.
All profits from the sale of this book go to the Bunbury RSL.
