The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or as it's commonly known, St Mary's Cathedral, is the largest and most grand of all of Perth's cathedrals. St Mary's, in Victoria Square, has been the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth for over 150 years. Originally built in 1865, the cathedral has undergone three separate expansions throughout its life.
