Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges. Small scuffing to top spine. Interior and binding are still excellent.

Letters by both Sir John and Lady Jane Franklin were written during the period when they were in Tasmania. George Mackaness has provided an introduction, notes and commentary on the correspondence.

First published in 1947 as Volume XV of the original series of Australian Historical Monographs. This reprint is Volumes XVII and XVIII of the new series of Australian Historical Monographs.
