This booklet includes the autobiographies of Jack and Ada Fletcher Holmes, who married in 1935, and were notable long term residents of the Brighton area in Victoria, attending Brighton Grammar School and Firbank respectively.
Jack (b. 1909) was a dedicated member of Legacy and worked tirelessly helping war widows, whilst Ada (b. 1912) was an original committee member for the Legacy Wives Association and a helper at Brighton Grammar and Firbank and also an Honorary Life Governor of Prince Henry's Hospital, Melbourne.
