Book Description
Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges.
Issued by the Mullewa Road Board as a souvenir of the Mullewa Road Board's Golden Jubilee 1911-1961.
Mullewa appears to have had four distinct stages. Firstly as a watering place and part of the pastoral activities associated with the early sheep stations. Secondly as a boom head-of-the-line town in the early 1890s. Thirdly as a town rapidly declining but still of importance to the Murchison goldfields and sheep stations and finally its rebirth about 1910 as a rich agricultural and pastoral area and communications centre.
