This book is the biography of May, an Anglo-Saxon girl growing up in Wiluna, Goldfields Esperance Region during the first half of the 20th Century.

From Wiluna, her family travels to Fremantle where they run the Swan Hotel. May spent much of her life in Swanbourne, Perth and Victoria. This book has many photographs but few surnames.
