A tombstone, 100 years late.
Things went awry sufficiently often in Joseph Buswell's eventful life, so it is not difficult to imagine the tolerant smile on his face at the prospect of his death being marked by a tombstone 100 years late. Indeed, in all probability, he would be amazed at the attention he got. And yet, at a ceremony in Bunbury on 29 December 1991, Mayor Dr E C Manea, in the presence of more than one hundred of Joseph's descendants, unveiled a plague - Joseph's tombstone. (back cover)
