This book is the autobiography of Edward Keenan (1921-2004) who grew up in the Busselton area.

Edward's earliest memories include growing up around Cape Farm, Cape Naturaliste. Keenan's grandparents had emigrated from Ireland in 1859 and for some years leased Reinscourt from Mrs Vernon Bussell.

The Keenans also established a cattle run and farm in the Margaret River district.
