Secondhand.
The Wood family is closely tied to the Coorinja Winery (originally known as Wood of the Vine) in Toodyay, Western Australia.
The book was written to celebrate 100 years of the Wood family living on the Vineyard. It tells the story of Horace Charles Wood who arrived at the vineyard in 1922 as a young man, where he started to make a living as a vigneron, sheep farmer and grain grower and became a prominent figure in the history of the Toodyay region.
It details his background as the son of Williams Thomas Wood - an adventurer and entrepreneur, and the grandson of William Woods, a Pensioner Guard who arrived in the colony in 1862.
