The Bunbury Heritage Trail, 186km south of Perth, traces the development of the City of Bunbury and features sites of historical and natural interest.
The book details the main trail (a 12km clockwise loop) suitable for cycling and walking, and also the city walk, a 4km walk through the Bunbury commercial centre where many interesting old buildings can be seen.
Included in the booklet are details on the natural and Aboriginal heritage of Bunbury, European settlement, and photographs and descriptions of the main trail sites.
The trail is part of the Heritage Trails Network, a community participation project devised by the Western Australian Heritage Committee to commemorate the 1988 Bicentenary.
