The autobiography of Edward Oscar Lind. Born in Perth in 1928, he spent his early youth in forest settlements, including Inglehope, Huntly and Willowdale. In 1940, Ted returned to Perth to live with his grandmother in North Perth and continue schooling. Ted became an active sportsman, ending up playing 70 games for WAFL clubs West Perth and Subiaco in the 1950s.
