Secondhand. Good condition. Wear to book corners and edges, particularly at the spine top and tail, which are now protected with book tape. Light foxing to top foredge. Interior and binding are still excellent.
This book is compiled from the handwritten notes of William George Manners (1863-1924) from his travels through mining centres including Ballarat, Broken Hill, Kanowna and Kalgoorlie.
Manners arrived in Kanowna in 1895 to work as an engineer at the Golden Crown Mine. Within three years, he had established his own business, which continues today.
