Book Description

Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges. Previous owner has signed inside front cover.

Harwood's Cottage squats on a property known initially as Inlet Villa. The cluster of buildings is the last vestige of the Quindalup townsite, which was the hub of a thriving timber industry from the mid to late 1800s.

William Hardwoods came to Western Australia from England in 1830. His son John is the first listed owner of Inlet Villa. The cottage and other historical buildings are thought to be circa 1860s. (Introduction)
