When we started selling books on Australian history, we kept to nonfiction. It wasn't long before we noticed that the major themes of our history—colonialism, Aboriginal and First Nations culture and history, multiculturalism, national identity, and our relationship with the natural environment—were also mirrored in our literature.
We now sell Australian literature but have limited our collection to books of national cultural importance by departed greats such as Miles Franklin, Henry Lawson, and Banjo Paterson, as well as anthologies and collections of Australian folklore, yarns, ballads, bush poetry and myths.
