Book Description

Secondhand. Good to very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges. Fading and marks on front and back covers. Interior and binding are still excellent.

This is the second book by Leita Bell on her family history. Her first book, Turner's Augusta, published in 1995, focused on her great-great-grandfather James Woodward Turner, who arrived in Western Australia with his family on the Warrior in May 1830.

Wide Sea, Wide Land is the story of James Woodward Turner's youngest son, James Augustus Turner. At seventeen, James Augustus Turner sailed the family-constructed schooner, the Alpha, out of Flinders Bay bound for Adelaide and Mauritius.
