Eric Thonemann managed The Elsey, his family's 5000 square km cattle station in the Northern Territory, from 1941 until 1961. He attempted to document the lives, culture, and beliefs of the Mangarrayi People. Buludja was an Aboriginal woman who spent her life at The Elsey. She provides a unique first-person account.
