This is the biography of Father John Lisle who was ordained an Anglican priest, married with three children who then converted to Catholicism to become one of the first married priests since the 10th Century.

As an Anglican priest in the post-war era, Lisle has parishes in the Bahamas, South Africa, Bunbury and Mount Barker. After conversion, his parishes included Scarborough, Armadale, Toodyay, Northam and Mosman Park.
