This book was published to recognise the first centenary of the Perth Boys' School and the solid foundation on which free education in Western Australia has been built.
The history of school is closely linked with education in Western Australia. The book details important milestones, including the beginnings of education in WA, the establishment of the first school at Rush Church, the formation of an education committee and a Board of Education, the appointment of the first headmaster, and the construction of a permanent school. During this time, tens of thousands of boys have passed through the school. The book also includes enrolment figures, some photographs and a list of students and teachers in the centenary year.
