Owen Suffolk's complete autobiography. Originally published in 1876 as a weekly contribution to the newspaper Australasian. Suffolk was born in London in 1829 into comfortable circumstances. In 1846 he was convicted of forgery and was sentenced to seven years' transportation to Port Phillip. He repeatedly offended in Australia, spending more than 16 years in colonial gaols.
