Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges. Foxing to foredges. Dust jacket is in good condition with marks on front cover and some minor tearing at top edge. Interior and binding are still excellent.
Lt. William Bligh's log was written before the Mutiny on the HM Bounty in 1789. He maintained his official log daily from 1787 to 1789. The mutineers allowed him to keep the log when he left in the open boat, and upon his return, it was archived in Admiralty records. The logs are compulsive and fascinating reading.
