In Lasseter's Last Ride, Idreiss provides a narrative of the 1930 Central Australia Gold Exploration Expedition, in which Lewis Hubert Lasseter was the prospector. It has been compiled from personal experiences of several party members, from information provided by E. H. Bailey, the expedition secretary and from letters written by Lasseter himself. (Foreword)
