Secondhand.
Reminiscences of bygone days from the author who grew up in rural Western Australia.
Growing up in the 50s and 60s was a privilege that could not be granted to everyone. Those special years will be remembered and relived for the remainder of the lives of anyone who passed through them. The war was over, television, space age, and computers were yet to overule our lives. People made their own entertainment, unlike now when we pay others to entertain us. The family was a unit where discipline gave us a solid foundation that would carry us through life. Those years are worth remembering.
