A unique mid-20th century facsimile edition of a previously unreleased original handwritten 19th century children's manuscript by Edward Lear.

The whimsical illustrations and accompanying verses differ markedly from the standard, mass-produced versions of his alphabet rhymes found elsewhere in his bibliography.

The alphabet came to light and was acquired from Sotheby in London and was published by special permission of Dr Theodore Besterman.

Also includes a printed version for those who find handwriting difficult.
