The Dolly Pot was a column in The Western Mail from 1936 to 1942. It was initiated by Cyril Longmore and later taken over by Malcolm Uren. It is a significant source of information on the Western Australian goldfields pioneers. They wrote of the joys, sadness and hardships of life on the goldfields. (Introduction)
