The story of the first seventy-five years of Corryong School No 1309. Traced from its infancy in a timber-slab building on Hunter's Plain, it records its progress to the status of a higher elementary school, then to its virile maturity on the eve of the launch of the Corryong High School.
Set against a backdrop of WWII, droughts, floods, bushfires and economic depression, it is a record of a school community nurturing and improving facilities for four generations of students and of teachers who travelled to the once remote town of Corryong. (Introduction)
