This collection of papers arises from the first Australia-wide meeting of Aboriginal women at the 1980 ANZAAS Conference in Adelaide.
It is organised into four sections. The first section offers five different views of the general role of Aborginal women in the 1980s. Section two gives examples of the significance of women in the fight for land rights. The third looks at health, education, employment and family history issues. The last section summarises the discussions at the meeting and highlights key issues. (back cover)
