Book Description
Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges.
For many years, people have encouraged me to write the stories told to me by my grandmother, who lived in the area now known as Kings Park, from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
I want to make sure my grandmother's stories are not lost with me. It is important that future generations of Australians know the history of Wadjuk and Nyungah people to keep our culture alive. As a Wadjuk elder, it is my responsibility to ensure that future generations know the history of our people, not only my children and their children but the whole community.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander readers, please note that this book may contain descriptions and/or images of people who have passed away.
