Book Description

Secondhand. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges. Minor marks to right foredge. Includes CD-ROM.

This book was published as part of the Bringing Them Home Oral History Project which collected interviews with Stolen Generations members. The project also included interviews with people involved, such as welfare officers, police officers, missionaries and institutional staff. The interviews were recorded between 1998 and 2002. They relate to missions and institutions across Australia.

The book includes a CD that brings the interviewees' voices to life. The editors have brought together a diverse range of expert writers and have woven their words with artwork and poetry by Indigenous artists, many of whom are interviews for the project.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander readers, please note that this book may contain descriptions and/or images of people who have passed away.
