This book traces Wilfrid Douglas story from his childhood in Belfast to his transportation to the Fairbridge children's home at the age of twelve. Wilfrid Douglas experiences at Fairbridge profoundly influenced his later life, particularly when he advocated for closing down the aboriginal children's home at Sunday Island. Wilfrid Douglas contributed significantly to the knowledge of Aboriginal languages across Australia.
