Arriving in Western Australia from England as a child migrant, Olga Wignall wandered the State's interior with her mother, an itinerant worker. A jill of many trades - nurse, secretary, driving and riding instructor, farmer and much more, Olga studied her way to becoming a mental health educator.
Olga passed away in 1991. She wrote three books. Chancy Times was her first book and provides insight into British inter-war migration experiences.
