William Crittal arrived on the Caroline to the Swan River Colony in 1829. He was an indentured servant to Alfred Hawes Stone, a solicitor appointed by Stirling as Sheriff and High Constable of the Colony in March 1831.
In 1840, Crittal married Elizabeth Thomas, a ward of the Children's Friend Society. They went on to have 14 children before Crittal died in 1875.
This book is the story of the Criddle family and its spread from the Swan River Colony to the Mid West.
