This book of verse brings to life some of the challenges and hardships that befell her ancestors on arrival from England to the Colony of Western Australia in 1841 to the present day.
Laurel overcame her own trials and tribulations and with failing eyesight and "Against the odds" achieved her desire to write and complete this story at 90 years of age.
